Bring one piece of identification: a University of Toronto identification card. The Library Cards are kept in a secure place at all times to ensure your privacy.
Who is eligible to borrow materials from the Library?
Library Cards are free to any U of T student, staff, or faculty. If your status, address or other contact information changes, please contact our office so that we may maintain your most up-to-date information.
How long can I borrow materials for?
A total of three items can be borrowed at any one time. Materials can be borrowed as per the following:
- 14 nights for books

Provided that the item has not been placed on hold by another borrower, renewals can be made by phone, email, or in person.
What is the late return policy?
